Business Analyst – Guidewire

ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW:

Alchemy London Market are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in Guidewire, as we embark on a significant project involving the implementation and integration of Guidewire insurance software solutions. The project aims to enhance operational efficiency and streamline processes within the insurance operations.

The primary objective is to support the client’s project by gathering functional requirements for a Guidewire PolicyCenter Motor product build. Additionally, the BA will be involved in integrating Claims and BillingCenter modules to ensure seamless operation with PolicyCenter.

ASSIGNMENT OBJECTIVES: 

  • Comprehensive documentation outlining functional requirements for the Guidewire PolicyCenter Motor product build.
  • Detailed specifications covering user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Integration plan detailing the process for integrating Claims and BillingCenter modules with PolicyCenter.
  • Documentation highlighting key integration points, data flow diagrams, and interface requirements.
  • Requirements documentation for the Data/MI workstream, including Info Centre/Data Hub.
  • Clear delineation of MI requirements, data sources, transformation rules, and reporting formats.
  • Sprint backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for each sprint within the Scaled Agile framework.
  • Participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Regular communication with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address any issues or concerns.
  • Status reports detailing progress, issues, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Preparation of training materials and user guides for end-users, ensuring smooth adoption of implemented solutions.
  • Collaboration with the testing team to ensure that delivered solutions meet quality standards.
  • Support in test case development, test execution, and defect resolution.
  • Assistance during the post-implementation phase, addressing any issues or enhancements required post go-live.
  • Provision of ongoing support and guidance to the client’s teams as needed.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL-SET:

  • Proven experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.
  • Strong data analysis skills, including Data Hub and MI requirements gathering.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scaled Agile frameworks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
