ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW:

Alchemy London Market is currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst to assist on a pivotal initiative aimed at revolutionising broking operations across multiple global markets. As the platform undergoes rapid development, you will work closely with both business and technical teams to define, analyse, and implement the requirements of the Assure Broking platform. This includes gathering and documenting business needs, translating them into technical specifications, and ensuring seamless communication between product teams and developers to deliver a solution that meets both technical and business objectives. This role is critical for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the platform is delivered on time, meets functional requirements, and provides value to stakeholders.

ASSIGNMENT OBJECTIVES: 

  • Document detailed business requirements gathered from stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals and business objectives.
  • Create clear and concise technical specifications, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and any necessary documentation for developers to implement features.
  • Map current and future workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimisation within the platform.
  • Provide regular updates and communication with stakeholders, ensuring expectations are managed and any issues are proactively addressed.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with business stakeholders and technical teams to clarify requirements, validate solutions, and ensure alignment.
  • Identify any gaps in requirements or risks in delivery, and propose solutions and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure that functional designs are aligned with the technical architecture and platform capabilities to enable smooth development and integration.
  • Document any changes in requirements and their impact on project scope, timelines, and resources.

EXPERIENCE & SKILL-SET:

  • Experience in Assure Broking Platform is preferred.
  • Experience of working on the delivery of a broking platform.
  • Strong understanding of broking operations, business processes, and industry standards.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical solutions and user stories.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience with data modeling, process mapping, and requirements documentation tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment.
