ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW:

Alchemy London Market is in need of an experienced Reporting Business Analyst to support a prominent reinsurance client operating globally, specialising in managing complex risks for large carriers. The objective is to enhance reporting capabilities and ensure operational efficiency.

ASSIGNMENT OBJECTIVES: 

  • Develop and implement robust reporting solutions to provide actionable insights into the operations, with a focus on complex risk management.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within claims, reinsurance operations, and accounting functions to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and team members to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver high-quality reports using Power BI.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders to understand reporting needs and business objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities.
  • Design and develop reports and dashboards using Power BI, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and usability.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data integrity, availability, and security.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on reinsurance, claims, and accounting processes to inform reporting strategies.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders clearly and concisely

EXPERIENCE & SKILL-SET:

  • Solid experience in the reinsurance industry with a focus on large carriers, including expertise in claims, reinsurance operations, and accounting.
  • Proficient in data analysis techniques and tools, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI for report development and visualization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
